I recently read a magazine article about a famous scientist who we all know. We know him as one of the smartest individuals who lived. He is famous for his research in physics receiving the Nobel Prize and for his appearance. I realized that the reason he became so famous was not only due to being smart, but it was all due to being dedicated to his beliefs. He became successful because he was dedicated to his work and through his dedication he accomplished many of his goals.

My hero is Albert Einstein who was born in Ulm, Germany on March 14, 1879. He was born and raised in a Jewish family living in Germany. When Albert Einstein was 5 his father gave him a compass. This is the starting point in Albert Einstein's interest in physics. He started asking himself hard questions that he was on able to answer later on. In school, he did well in math and science but not in other subjects. At age 6 he started playing the violin. He loved music and it stayed with him his whole life.

Throughout his life, Albert Einstein traveled to Italy then to Switzerland where he went to high school and college. It was at the Swiss Federal Polytechnic Institute of Technology. In 1905 Albert Einstein discovered the most famous equation e=mc2. It is due to this equation that led Einstein to the U.S. that earned him the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1921. It was his findings and hard work which made him world famous.

Albert Einstein is important to me, because he is smart. He discovered e=mc2, the Theory of Relativity, and that light bends. He makes a difference because if it wasn't for him, we wouldn't know all the things we know today. I think that Albert Einstein liked what he did and enjoyed what he did. He was a very curious person and always liked to learn new things. One day I would like to be like Einstein, because he discovered many things, he was smart, and most importantly he gave dedication to what he did. I like how he gave dedication to his work, he never gave up, he kept on trying, and he put effort to what he did.

My hero needed to have a lot of dedication. Now think of it this way if Albert Einstein didn't have dedication he wouldn't have wanted to do anything. If he didn't do anything he wouldn't have achieved his goals. Albert Einstein had dedication so he wanted to study, he liked what he did and he enjoyed what he did, and he achieved his goals.
