Anne Frank was born June 12, 1929 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. She was Jewish and lived with her parents and sister. She had barely turned thirteen when the Nazis tried to find her family and they escaped to live with another Jewish family. They survived on potato peels. Her family and the others were found and they were taken to Bergen-Belsen (a death camp in Germany) and Anne was shaved and put to work. She had died from an epidemic a few weeks after her sister's death.
