Aaliyah

Aaliyah was born on January 16, 1979 in Brooklyn, New York. She was born with the full name of Aaliyah Dana Haughton. In 1994 at the age of 15 she released her album. In 2001 she died due to a plane crash on August 25. She moved to Detroit when she was five. She became famous during the 1990’s. She was not just a singer she also was a dancer, fashion model, and a actress. She played in a movie called Romeo Must Die.

She is my hero because she has done a lot in her life and she made her music as a part of her life. There are three words that describe her talented, beautiful, and modest. She had nicknames from her parents such as Liyah, Baby Girl, Wonder Women, Lee, LiLi. She majored as a dancer at Performing Arts High School. She is my hero because she can dance, sing and she can act.
