Edward Michael Bear Grylls was born on June 7th, 1974, on Isle of Wight, England. He is a natural born climber taught by his father Michael. Bear prepared for becoming a survival expert at an early age. He started going on adventures and getting in trouble for it. Bear had a one goal, and today has more than conquered it. Bear developed these skills and tactics by preparing young. He was enrolled in martial arts classes at the age of 7. At 19 years of age, he joined the British Special Forces, serving with 21 SAS.
