Barack Obama

by Jayda from Florence

My hero is as amazing as Batman. Barack Obama was born on August 4, 1961. He is from Honolulu and Chicago. He is my hero for three reasons. He was the 44th president of the United States on November 4, 2008. He was sworn in January 20, 2009. He cares for children and their parents. He was raised with help from his grandfather. Who is your hero?

Barack Obama becoming the 44th president is as awesome as a new car. He became known among Chicago political circles for using hardball political tactics. Barack Obama had a third option beyond “yes” or “no”. He also spoke out against the U.S. invasion of Iraq. Who was your president when you were ten years-old?

He cares as much as a school principal. Barack Obama helps people know about the country. Barack Obama works on war and taxes. He presented the case for health care reform to the America people. Have you ever been cared about people?

When he was little he was as smart as a computer. He was raised by his grandparents. His grandfather served in Patton’s Army. At age ten, Barack return to Hawaii to live with his grandparents on his mother’s side. How did you get raised?

My hero is smarter than a fifth grader. He is important to me because he was the 44th president of the United States on November 4, 2004. He was elected to the U.S. Senate from Illinois and he makes me feel joyful. How did your president make you feel when you were ten?
