“To feel valued, to know, even if only once in a while, that you can do a job well is an absolutely marvelous feeling”

In honor of Barbara Walters, I did research about this hero in “Biography Today.” I chose Barbara Walters because she was a newscaster. After the research, I was glad I did because I learned so much about her.

Who knew such a normal beginning would give the world a hero? She was born in the big city of Boston, Massachusetts on September 25, 1931. Barbara’s parents were Louis Edward Walters and Dena Selett (original Sletsky) Walters.

The foundation of heroism is education. She went to school at several different schools. She went to school at Miami Beach District School when she was in first grade. Then she went back and forth from Florida to New York City. Barbara went to private schools called Riverdale and Birch Wathena in Manhattan. She graduated from Manhattan.

Hard work contributes to heroism. Barbara was given an only occasional appearance. Her first real break is that she got a job from NBC (Today Show). Her new job was a entry-staff position. She became a celebrity and traveled all over the world. She interviewed the U.S. president. She also made a million dollar move.

Barbara Walters is important to mankind and changed the world. She is so important because she told the news and she interviewed famous people at a young age. Also she was for her million dollar move and her Daytime Entertainment Emmy Award. She was also a producer.
