Confucius is a hero because his teachings were about ethics and behavior for individuals and governments. Confucius’s teachings influenced Chinese society, throughout China and other countries. He took those ideas and argued with the ruler of Lu that their society would function better if the people of Lu followed his ideas. Confucius lived in social chaos, he was demanded to leave out of the state of Lu and went into exile with his disciples and wandered for 13 years.

Confucius left the state of Lu because he took a number of offices and demanded to put his ideas into play. He stressed the importance of certain virtues, “Do not do to others what you would not have them do to you.” The ruler of Lu refused to take the advice that Confucius gave him and forced him to leave the state of Lu. During those 13 years, he wrote stories about how to live wisely, responsibly, and ethically. He believed that young people should obey their elders and also believed that every person in the world should be honest.

Confucius was a wise person, his parents were a part of the nobility society. Later, he became poor when the empire disintegrated into feudal states. At 15, he became very interested in learning but couldn’t go to school only if he was noble or royal. Confucius decided to learn on his own and knew as much as if he was in school in his time. When people discovered that he had a great sense of knowledge, they sent their children to learn with Confucius.

Confucius taught students from all social classes, he taught his students reasonably. His students called him “master” of being a great teacher. His father died when he was three years old and tried to find work as soon as possible. He tried to get so he could support his family and be the man of the house.

Confucius is important because he changed the society because of his teachings. His teachings showed how to become responsible, wise, and independent, and do the right things. People of Lu followed his teachings and changed their lives. Not only in China changed their society of things but throughout the country. After Confucius passed, temples were built throughout the country for the remembrance of Confucius.
