The My Hero Project offers children, teachers and their
parents a powerful way to combine cutting edge technologies
with timeless values and old fashioned storytelling, while
opening windows to the world around us. We invite you, your
family, friends, classroom or organization to join us in our
ongoing celebration of great heroes. By linking these new
web pages to our bank of stories(thousands of pages
long!) you can be part of this unique on line event honoring the
best of humanity.
Next you will build your hero tribute on line with words and images. (Be sure to provide My Hero with an email address or telephone number so that we can notify you or your teacher when we are ready to feature your story.) Guess what? If we feature your hero story you will receive a Genius T-Shirt Prize. Please remember: only send us things you wrote and photos or pictures you have taken. If you would like to include material from someone else -- for example, an article or photograph from a book or magazine -- please be sure to tell us its source... where you found this information. (That allows us to see if we need to contact the owner of the material to see if it's okay to use it.) You can complete this program in one session, or you may want to return to edit your MY HERO story and add additional information and graphics. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you write down your PASSWORD.
