MY HERO asked Andrew Bensen Greene, the national coordinator of iEARN Sierra Leone, to interview his students about their heroes. The resulting Hero Chain paints a vivid picture of life for these young students in Freetown, Sierra Leone, and their heroes, their plight as former child soldiers, their country's devastating ten years of "bloody civil war," and their hopes for everlasting peace.
