  Cheikh Darou Seck
Meet Cheikh Darou Seck, an English teacher at Martin Luther King Girls School in Dakar, Senegal, filmmaker, and one of our Global Exchange partners. We first met Cheikh at the iEARN conference in Slovakia in 2004. He is a passionate filmmaker dedicated to capturing Senegalese heroes on film to share with the global community. His enthusiasm for digital storytelling has inspired his students to begin making films of their own. Cheikh encourages his students to look for the positive in people, and to believe in themselves and their power to make a difference.
