Born November 16th, 1952, Miyamoto had a thrilling experience growing up. He spent most of his time exploring his surroundings, taking in everything he could see. His mind was beyond ours, finding even the smallest thing to be most interesting. When he was a child, he came across a large hole in the ground. Time and time again he would return to this hole and peer down into it. One final day, he went into that huge hole armed with nothing but a lantern. There, he journeyed deep into the hole for the very first time. This is supposedly what inspired his career later on. He never could forget that adventure, which was so much fun to him. Miyamoto did not just get his idea to be a video game mastermind overnight. He had very little idea as to what he wanted to be, but he knew he wanted to be a very important person who created something that amazed everyone in the world. He thought of becoming a puppeteer, and excelled in creating toys, even openning a toy store later on. He went to the Kanazawa Munici College of Industrial Arts and Crafts in 1970, where he skipped classes very often. Finally graduating after 5 long years, Shigeru set out into the world with his very creative mind. Miyamoto, being the fabulous toy designer he was, was hired by Nintendo to come up with ideas for toys. Luckily, he kept the job for awhile. One day, his partner (also the person to get him a job with Nintendo), Hiroshi Yamauchi, announced to Miyamoto that he wanted him to create a video game. Stunning as this was, he set to work. After the licenses fell into place, he came out with the famous game we call "Donkey Kong." This creation lead to many more, including "Mario" himself, "The Legend of Zelda" series, and many of the video games we know and love. Shigeru Miyamoto fell in love with a Nintendo administrator named Yasuko, and soon married her. His games have spread throughout the world, and he never stops entertaining his fans. No matter how many games he makes, no matter what great games he's created before, they keep getting better in breathtaking experiences. Expect more from Miyamoto in the future.
