Sign the MY HERO Guestbook  

People of all ages share stories that honor scientists, artists, environmentalists, peacemakers, lifesavers and more on the MY HERO guest book. Children honor friends and family, while parents and teachers honor children making a difference.

Text can first be drafted and refined in a text word processor then cut/pasted into the MY HERO Guestbook. Entries are posted "live" into this ever-growing archive of hero stories. MY HERO has a swear word screener operating so occasionally entries are placed in a “holding” tank to be reviewed by the MY HERO staff. Once these stories have been reviewed they can be “activated” and placed into the guestbook. Visitors may use the search engine in the Guestbook to locate their entries to share with friends and family.

Each week the MY HERO staff reviews stories and photographs from the Associated Press focusing on news-makers who are bringing about positive change in the world. Teachers and students are encouraged to use this resource to discover “Heroes in the News.”

The Goldman Environmental Prize honors those working to protect the planet.	Annalena Tonelli was honored for her efforts helping refugees from Somalia.	Health workers in India knocked on millions of doors in a campaign to vaccinate 165 million of the children against polio.	Young people volunteered to raise money for war-stricken Iraqi families.
