My name is Devon. I am 9 years old. My hero is Abraham Lincoln because he is honest cool and generous. Abraham Lincoln was the president of the United States of America. He became president in 1861 on March 4. And when he was president he stopped slavery.

One reason why he is my hero is because he is honest. He is honest because he never lies. He had a reputation of being a very honest man.  He is also honest because he never lies to the public.

The second reason he is my hero is because he is cool. They have a big statue of him in Washington, and he is even on parade floats. He was a president of the United States of America. He stopped slavery in America. He had a stylish hat. He walked in style.

The final reason he is my hero is because he is generous. He was nice in many ways. He stopped slavery. He helped people. He was not mean.

In conclusion, Abraham was a great man.  He was cool.  He was a generous person, and he was honest.  Abraham Lincoln was a great leader.
