He was born in February 12 1809 to Thomas Lincoln and Nancy Hanks, two farmers, in a one-room log cabin on the 348-acre (1.4 km2) Sinking Spring Farm, in southeast Hardin County, Kentucky.
Abraham Lincoln was the 16th president of United States of America. He ruled the country with great leadership quality. As he was the president he faced many challenges like the American Civil War for ending slavery.
He started taking interest in politics at the age of 23, 1832. He was a lawyer before he became the president. He was assassinated in April 14 1865 by John Wilkes Booth.
