Bior and Daniel

by Jacob from New York

“Would you rather be a rich and famous movie star or a great Doctor who saves a lot of people but is not wealthy or well known?”

My hero Daniel from “The Lost Boys” isn’t a big famous movie star or singer. He’s just your average African who came to America and has overcome many tragedies in his life. Bior is a very kind and caring guy, who I’ve met personally.

Along his journey Daniel put others before himself by making sure the village kids ate first. He has also overcome nationality, meaning he could care less what you look like, but what you're like on the inside!

Daniel is very confident as in he never gives up hope. When he was on the edge of life and death he didn’t give up. He figured that, maybe tomorrow we’ll be safe and have shelter. After Daniel came to America he tried and tried to get a job.

Lastly Daniel doesn’t take things for granted. He doesn’t take money for granted, meaning he spends his money wisely. Finally he makes use of his life instead of wasting it because you only get one! Daniel has a very high quality that I admire. Even Daniel, coming from nothing, doesn’t take things for granted! Do you?
