Scott Bryant

I chose my uncle as my hero because he's a firefighter. When you think of a fire you probably think of people running away. My uncle doesn't do that. He goes into the building to save lives while others run away. I look up to him because he is brave, confident, and he is cares for others.

Scott Bryant (my uncle) drives fire trucks, goes into blazing fires, and helps others with the fire hose. He lives in Okolona, Mississippi. Okolona is a small town about an half-hour outside of Tupelo.

Scott thinks being a fireman is very exciting and it gets his adrenaline running. He also thinks that being a fireman has helped him prepare for tough situtions. His biggest accomplishment in life is finishing EMT school (medical preparation school). That made him more prepared for emergencies until an ambulance gets there. He became a firefighter because he likes to help others.

Scott thinks that being a fireman is special from other jobs because he's in a fire. Scott lives with my great-uncle who has Acute Lekumia and my Grandpa. Scott helps take care of my great-uncle along with everyone else in my family. Please say a prayer for my great-uncle.

The 9/11 attack shows how much firefighters can help. From finding lost people in rubble to putting out a toaster on fire. It shows that firemen are heroes in many ways.
