Do you have a great father that helps you and is a hero? I do. His name is Corey A. Kirkham. He is a fabulous, humorous, and talented gentleman. He is great because he takes care me and spends time with me and our family. Like a thoughtful hero would.
My dad lives in Indianapolis, Indiana. We love to ride our dirt bike and four wheelers. My father does not give up if he can not achieve or fix something. He will try to find out what is wrong and make it right. He always tries to cheer people up. If he yells at me when I get in trouble he will apologize for his anger. He has a great sense of humor and can come up with some pretty funny jokes. My dad is a great man and hero. I love my dad so much.
My dad has taught me to be strong and not to give up on something that is difficult. One time I was building a dog house and I thought it was too complicated and I wanted to give up but my father said, “No you are going to build this even though it might be difficult, I know you can do it”. Guess what- I did build it! He has taught me to think, calm down, and focus to accomplish my goal.
I chose my dad is a hero because he can help me accomplish my goals. He taught me how to swim, fish, hunt, and how to ride my motorized vehicles. If I could not see my dad I would be bored and would not know how to do anything. So, I am very lucky I have a dad that is there for me.
My father does not call himself a hero, but I know I do. My dad has taught me well.
