Henry Miller once said, "The ordinary man is involved in action, the hero acts. An immense difference!" A hero goes above the ordinary to the extraordinary. A hero has all positive qualities and inspires others. Roberto Celemente of Puerto Rico had an impact on many people; therefore, he is considered a hero.
Roberto Clemente was born in 1934 and died in 1972. He lived in Puerto Rico. He played baseball for the Pittsburg Pirates. He won twelve Golden Gloves.
Roberto once said, “Last night I went to bed trying to figure out how to make this work.” He found out ways to accomplish things in his life but more importantly he cared for people he did not know. He went to Nicaragua trying to help others but he died. He died in a tragic plane crash on his way to bring food and supplies to the country of Nicaragua after a bad earthquake
Roberto was loyal, humble and courageous. He was loyal because he promised people no matter what the problem was he would try to help. He tried to be humble at the same time. He did not care how long trips were, he just wanted to help people. He also was courageous because he went to a faraway country to help people in need. Roberto was always trying his best to help others
Finally, a hero is a person that helps people. Roberto was a great man. Roberto was considered a hero because he did not send money to countries in need, he went and helped. Roberto Celemente of Puerto Rico made an impact on many people; therefore, he is considered a hero. Roberto had great life, but sadly he died too early.
