sor juana ines de la cruz

My hero is Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz; she is a respectful person that i admire, and she is a responsible person that never critized people but always showed love. I also appreciate her poetry, that was made with a lot of enthusiasm.

Juana was born on November 12, 1648 in San Miguel de Nepantla. She gets the respect in society that became a lady-in-waiting in the court of the Spanish viceroy, years after she left the court. Sor Juana wrote literature based on freedom. She made some poems but in a specific one "hombres necios" she gives to understand that the rights of womans have to be respected.

For Juana was dangerous her outspoken stance when it begin the heat to the Roman Catholic Church. Things changed to order at 1690, when one letter was published and attacked Sor Juana´s theology. Sor Juana produced lovely poetry, it always expressed spiritual solidarity to women. Unfortunately she died of an illness in 1695.

I consider Sor Juana like a hero for me because when she does something, she first thinks if it is correct to do it. I also like her poetry, she writes with great meaning and feeling. I would not like to write poetry when i got older but i just would like to hear it. I will always remember Sor Juana in my heart, even though I never saw her or will see her any time.
