My sister Has been battling Hodgkin's lymphoma for 9 years now. During her battle she has kept working at her job. Even the 6 moths she was in the hospital for bone marrow transplant, she had her work brought to her. She makes the most awesome cakes and desserts you will ever try. She was taking them to the nurses down at City of Hope while she was getting treatment. She went a few weeks ago to my cousin's wedding and made a beautiful cake, even though she was sick. She goes out of her way to help others all the time. She was going to New York every 3 weeks to get an experimental treatment and while there she met a girl that was there from Texas and found out her mom could not come due to $ issues so she flew her mom to New York and gave her some cash. There are so many other stories like that to be told but she does not share them, she is so humble. She just finished another round of radiation and after the scan the Dr said he thinks that the radiation has push the Hodgkin's to her liver and has to do a biopsy. Her response, "Don't worry God takes care of me. He has plans for me and more people to help." She is such a strong Lady and lives in constant pain. I love her and respect her so much.
