Lilia Podkopaeva

In my opinion everybody has his or her hero. It’s the man or woman who devotes him\herself to something or somebody.

As I’m from Ukraine, my hero is of Ukrainian origin. So, my hero is Lilia Podkopaeva. She is the Olympic champion in gymnastics who won the recognition of a great sport and became a well-known person all over the world.

I like her because she proved the fact that she has strong body and spirit. Lilia doesn’t stop her achievements. She works and has good results. I’m proud that she won the 16th Olympic games in Atlanta. Besides she was the youngest gymnast; she got 2 gold and 1 silver medals at the age of 17. It’s necessary to say she is a pretty woman who reaches higher and higher. For example she took part in the Ukrainian project “Dances with Stars” and won it. Once more I admired her 3rd place in dancing Eurovision.

As you see I’m fond of this person. Lilia Podkopaeve is my hero of progressiveness. She is a real example of strength and beauty.

Besides I have the same name and I’m happy.
