We chose Leonardo da Vinci as our hero because he has influenced our lives in so many good ways, with his thoughts, his ideas, his knowledge, his inventions and his incredible paintings and human body drawings.

He was an intelligent person because he taught beyond what anyone can do. Some of his most famous and incredible paintings are "THE MONA LISA" and "THE LAST SUPPER" which are both exhibited in the Louvre museum in France.

Leonardo was born on April 15, 1452 in a village close to Vinci, a small town in Florence, Italy. His real name was Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci which means Leonardo, son of Messer Piero of Vinci.

Leonardo lived during the Renaissance in the 13th century. At that time he painted his most beautiful paintings.

He is very important for us because he was very intelligent and he has helped us with all of his inventions and also he has made our lives better.
