Do you have a hero? I do. His name is Abraham Lincoln. He has done many things for many people. He stopped slavery and freed slaves. He was 16th president about the time of the Civil War. He made many speeches before he was president.

Abraham Lincoln can be a hero to many people, but at least he is at least a hero to me. Many people probably know of him as the 16th president or the man who freed slaves. There are alot more that I know of him.

He was assassinated by a man named John Wilkes Booth while watching a play. That’s why hes not around today. That’s a reason why he’s my hero because he wasn’t meant to die, but it happened. John Wilkes Booth was angry about the south losing, and that’s why he died.

Abraham LIncoln has been my hero since third grade when I learned about him. He was a man of honor. He looked up to his dreams and wrote poems. There is no other man like him. That’s why he’s my hero.

When people have heros they probably think of them like Superman or Batman. Well you could think of them like that, but they’re just the way they are sometimes . Now you know why Abraham Lincoln is my hero.
