Nick Vujicic

Nick, short for Nicholas, is 26 years old and was born in 1982 in Melbourne, Australia with no arms or legs! When he was 7 years old he thought that robotic arms would help him be more like the other kids but when he put them on they were too heavy for him in school and when he played outside, so he had to take them off. In grade 7 he was elected captain of his school and worked with the student council.

It was Nick's dream to go around the world to tell his story and ask what other people have to worry about because they have arms and legs. What he says is “no arms, no legs, no worries” because he’s done so many things without arms or legs and by 25 years old Nick has been in more than 50 countries. He’s spoken in TV programs, radio shows and packed stadiums. Greece is where people love him the most and where he gets fed.

Nick taught people not to complain about just little things. When he told his story, he even made people cry! He makes me feel good inside because he says that I have nothing to worry about.

I would like to be more like Nick by being open-minded, caring and by knowing what I should worry about.
