The Neighbors Place

I think that the Neighbor’s Place is heroic because they take donations and they give it to complete strangers and they don’t call themselves a hero ,they just like helping their community and help sometimes without thinking about money. My hero is the Neighbor's Place because they help a lot of people that need it. A lot of people are grateful for the Neighbor's Place.

The Neighbor’s Place is a place that accepts food and other things like gently used clothing, gently used books, gently used baby stuff like cribs and beds and even beds for older kids. The Neighbor’s Place brings a lot of people in and gives them stuff if they need it. They give people that come the stuff that people have donated.

The Neighbor’s Place is a place that has many different organizations. There is a staff of 8, and over 550 volunteers every year. The Neighbor’s Place helps people so much that in the last year, The Neighbor’s Place has helped 12,000 different families. 5-10 families come in to the Neighbor’s Place every day.

The Neighbor’s place was started over 20 years ago to help people that have a range of problems like starvation and they freeze in the winter time because of no clothing to wear. The Neighbor’s gets a great variety of donations daily like one day they could get 1,000 items!

The Neighbor’s Place is important to me because I think that it is important that a lot of people are caring about many strangers. The Neighbor’s Place doesn’t call themselves a hero. They say they are just trying to help out their community members that need help and so that people know that, no matter what, people do care about them.
