Some kids might think that their teachers are boring and mean, but I don’t think that about my teacher. My teacher goes around the world to help people. She is very nice and helpful, and I think that Ms. Praytor is one of the best teachers around.

Ms. Praytor was born on February 2 in Yungstown, Ohio. When she turned 18 she attended Sam Houston College. Four years later she went to Georgia State University to complete her Masters in Education. Tragically, her first husband died in 1998 at the age of 52. This was a sad time for both Ms. Praytor, and her two sons, Treb and Cam. Ms. Praytor later met and married a wonderful man named, Dr. Isaac Sanchez.

Ms. Praytor has done a lot to help people in need. She is closely involved with the CHAMPS program, an organization that helps land mine victims. Last year at our school, she helped her fourth grade class raise over $30,000. Aid workers were able to purchase a landmine sniffing dog, Tornado. (Named after our school’s mascot). In 2003 she helped organize the building of a school in a remote area of Afghanistan.

I am very proud that Ms. Praytor is my hero and my fourth grade teacher. She has helped many people including land mine victims and kids in Afghanistan. She has inspired me to reach out and help other people in need.

For the security of our children in Afghanistan, I have been asked by officials to have you please remove the page below from your website.

As you know, it is a volatile situation in Afghanistan. Showing the name of the school and the connection to the US and a church is not wise.

Please let me know when you have done this. I am no longer at Trinity Episcopal School. I retired this year, although I still work with teachers at Trinity.

Thank you.
