Rosa Parks

When we first started on this project I thought to myself why would me as a white women respect an Africa American so much, but then I decided that it's because she taught me so much. Rosa Parks is my hero because she taught me that no matter what happens, I can't give up on what I want to accomplish. "No I won't move to the back of the bus." Rosa Parks was a very hard working women who just happened to go to jail because of the fact that a white man wanted to sit in her seat and she wouldn't give the seat to him.

If it wouldn’t have been for Rosa Parks I wouldn’t have the great friends I have now. I am glad that Rosa Parks wanted to have equal rights so that we could hang out with people of other races.

Even after she was sent to jail she still strove for her freedom and the freedom of other African Americans. Rosa Parks is very well known for the bus boycott in Montgomery, Alabama. Rosa never gave up, that's why the buses are not separated like they once were.

Although Rosa Parks has passed away she is still in our memories and will always be in mine. I never thought that I would be doing a paper on Rosa Parks. Everybody always say their mom is their hero. My mom is one of my heroes but Rosa Parks helped make it possible for me to be able to hang out with my friends because without her I would not know one of my best friends.

Do you now know why Rosa Parks is my hero? Well if you don't then I will tell you. Rosa Parks fought for YOU, even if you aren't African American. She thought of us all these years ahead of her and she wanted you to be able to hang out with anybody, any race.
