Rick Hansen est né à Vancouver, Colombie Britannique, Canada. Son anniversaire est le 26 août 1957. Il est né comme une enfant bonne santé, et il a été très athletique. Cependant, un incident avoir lieu cette a changé sa vie éternellement.

Quand Rick Hansen a eu 15 ans, en 1973, il est allé par un accident. Il a impliqué une voiture cet a heurté Rick Hansen. Il est devenu paralysée après son accident, et il a dû assis dans un fauteuil. Qouique Rick est allé par une grande accident, il a continué d’être courageux. Le but de Rick a été à jamais rendre, et rêver déconcerner qui es tu; il a été ambitieux.

Le but pricipal de Rick Hansen a été de gagner les argent pour la recherche de corde vertèbrale. My hero is Rick Hansen because he is optimistic and he had many dreams for which he worked hard to accomplish. Rick Hansen was disabled in his legs. He cannot walk and has to sit on a wheelchair. Although he was disabled, he didn’t give up, and he wanted to prove that being disabled doesn’t mean that your dreams cannot come true. Rick Hansen wanted to raise money for spinal cord research; therefore he went on a journey around the world, on his wheelchair. I chose Rick Hansen because he is very inspiring and determined to accomplish his goals. Rick Hansen is a great person because of things that have happened in his life, and because of heroes who he was inspired by. I will discover and I will learn many things that Rick Hansen went through. After I research about Rick Hansen’s life, he will become a great inspiration.

Rick Hansen was born in Vancouver, British Colombia, Canada. His birthday is on August 26, 1957. He was born as a healthy child, and he was very athletic. However, an incident occurred that changed his life forever.

When Rick Hansen was 15 years old, he went through an accident. It involved a truck that hit Rick Hansen. He was paralyzed after the accident and had to sit on a wheelchair. Although Rick went though a big accident he continued to be courageous. Rick’s goal was to never give up, and dream no matter who you are; he was ambitious.

The main goal of Rick Hansen was to raise money for spinal cord research. He decided to go for a journey across the world, and raise money for the spinal cord research. He began his journey on his wheelchair, in March 21, 1985, from Vancouver, British Colombia. He went to countries such as China, and France. On April 2, 1987, Rick returned home, in Williams Lake, British Colombia. He raised 10 million dollars on May 23, 1987. Rick Hansen decided to marry his physiotherapist on September 30, 1986.

He is extraordinary. Although he was disabled, he did a lot more than a normal person could do. Lastly, Rick Hansen is very inspiring, because of his great and heroic characteristics.

Rick Hansen is my hero and has inspired me. He is more athletic than many people who don’t have disabilities. He has lots of dreams, and he managed to accomplish all of them. There are many foundations by Rick Hansen. He has accomplished many things in life that he actually wanted to achieve. This demonstrates that any person can accomplish anything that they truly dream for, no matter who they are. He is courageous, he is a real hero.
