Ronald Reagan

by Alyssa from DuBois

In honor of Ronald Reagan, nicknamed Dutch, I did research about this hero in “Biography Today.” I chose Ronald Reagan because he was one of the many great presidents of the United States. After the research, I was glad I learned so much about him.

Who knew such a normal beginning would give the world such a hero? Ronald was born on February 6, 1911, at Tampico Illinois. His parents are John Edward and Nelle Wilson Reagan. When he got older he married Jane Wyman and they had two children, Maureen and Michael. He got divorced from his wife Jane. He married again to Nancy Davis and had two children named Patricia and Ronald.

The foundation of heroism is education. When Ronald was young he went to a lot of different schools. He attended the most of his school life at Northside High in Illinois.

Hard work contributes to heroism. He started his career acting in Hollywood. He starred in Brother Rat and King’s Row. Then once he got older he was president of the United States. The other person running was President Carter.

Ronald Reagan is important to mankind and changed the world. He was president and helped Germany by encouraging them to tear down the Berlin Wall. He sadly had a brain disease ending in death.
