Rinker

Do you have a hero? Well, I do. My hero is my dog Rinker. I know it might be funny to have a pet as a hero, but not for me. Rinker is special in many ways.

Rinker was born July 18, 2008. We bought him July 26, 2008. So he was only 8 days old. When we bought him we knew he had to have a name so we named him Rinker.

Rinker likes to do a lot of things for fun. Here are a couple:
1. Play, he never wants to stop playing.
2. He always wants to annoy people. When I am sleeping he will come and lay on my head.

When Rinker was still growing up he would always dig holes in the backyard and chew on everything. (Mostly my socks)

I bet you can never guess where Rinker sleeps. He sleeps right at the end of my bed where my big fluffy pillow is. I bet he sleeps there because he doesn’t want me to use it.

I think of Rinker as a hero because of the things he’s gone through. He has gone through… Getting sprayed by a skunk, getting chased by a fox, getting attacked by a dog 5 times bigger than him, and he has been lost. I think Rinker is really brave and courageous to go through that.
