My hero is a nice sheepdog that saved 97 lives on the Titanic.

This dog belonged a fairly wealthy family. It was a pure breed. They lived in New York in until the day the Titanic set sail.

Before the Titanic sank or hit the iceberg, the dog was barking nervously. BOOOM! The Titanic was hit. They didn’t know it at first, but all the life boats were gone like lighting. There was one life boat that was half empty. They put a rope in the dog’s mouth and made the dog swim over to the life boat and he pulled the people to safety.

That is why this lifesaving dog is my hero.
