Sara Groves

I chose Sara Groves (Christian Singer/Songwriter) as my hero because I read an article in a magazine recently where she talked about helping people in Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina and also in Rwanda after the genocide.

It had all started one day while she was sitting watching the news and seeing all the disaster from the hurricanes in Louisiana and when she saw all the trauma some of these people had been through she knew she needed to do something.

So she packed her bags and headed to Louisiana and helped re-build houses and give these people their lives back. She gave them clothing and she gave the children toys.

This is why I chose Sara Groves for my hero because she is an amazing person!
