My hero has contributed to the world of science. He has helped us more understand the universe. He is a scientist. He explores space. My hero is Stephen Hawking.

Stephen studied science and was interested in space. He also liked math, but the math department wasn't available in his school. So he tried science. He has now published a few books on the universe, black holes, cosmos, and his other amazing discoveries.

Unfortunately, Hawking has an illness called motor neurone disease, which gets progressively worse over the years. Today, he talks with a computer-like machine and is in a wheelchair. Luckily, this hasn't stopped Hawking. He continued to explore more about space. He is an amazing scientist. He has also received lots of great awards. He has many famous quotes, my personal favorite is:

"My goal is simple. It is a complete understanding of the universe, why it is as it is and why it exists."

Stephen is my hero because he is a well-known scientist and has discovered many things that fascinate me. His motor disease will not stop him. He inspires me because he is a scientist and science is my favorite subject. I want to study science like him someday.
