Stella Ramirez

Stella doesn’t really have a job. When she sees a poor person she gives them help. Stella is a person who touches the lives of poor people that are not part of any charity. She is 82 years old and since she was 10 years old she has been helping people. Stella says, “I love to help others; lots of people don’t help others but I do because I love to see smiling faces. I think people of the world need to have respect, if they are poor or not, because not only rich people need to have respect.”

Apart from giving material things, Stella gives love and help. If she sees a lonely kid on the street, she will just help him and give him love. Stella says that all families should help poor people in whatever country or city they are in because they need help. Lots of people, when they see a poor kid say “Ugh!” and go away. “Poor people are normal people, just like you, only they don’t have anything!” Stella points out. She got the idea of helping people because she saw a woman that gave lunch to a whole family so she got the idea of helping people from her. Her personal hero is her mom, who took her to a charity one day. After that she wanted to be a helper because of her. Stella is truly a hero for the poor of Colombia.
