My hero is.... Shel Silverstein is my hero because he is an amazing artist. Shel Silverstein was in the U.S military forces during the 50s and wrote songs. His poems make you laugh, cry, or feel mad.
Shel Silverstein is my hero because he inspires me and everybody else with his writing. Shel Silverstein died in Key West, Florida, on May 10, 1999.
One of my favorite poetry books is The Giving Tree, and The Missing Piece. If Shel Silverstein didn’t start writing poems, I would have never liked poetry.
