Superman

by Julian from Fresno

He came from the plant Krypton where his name was Kal-El and was sent to earth by his father since the planet was about to be destroyed. He is found by a Kansas farmer who raises him as Clark Kent. He grew up with this identity to become a writer for a newspaper called Daily Planet. At an early age he discovered he had supernatural powers and at maturity he decided to use them for good.

Superman uses his powers to defend those who can't defend themselves. He does this since it is the right thing to do. He defends Metropolis from opposing forces who try to conquer it. He shows the true meaning of being a hero. He defends the people without expecting something in return.

Superman encouraged me to do the right thing when I was in elementary school. This has shaped me to who I am today. My morals have been shaped by him making me want to the best for everyone.
