Terry Fox is a Canadian Athlete who got cancer in high school, and did many great things to raise cancer awareness. Terry is a famous Canadian. Fox was determined to raise Cancer awareness. Fox was a good person. Fox did many great things which changed the world.

Fox is a Famous Canadian. The Canadian Dollar has a picture of Terry on it. Terry Fox did many famous things to help today be the way it is. Mr. Fox has many memorials built for him. Fox got second place in ‘The greatest Canadian’ Vote, hosted by CBC (Wikipedia, W). Terry Fox is an extremely admirable person because he never backed down.

Terry Fox was determined to raise Cancer Awareness. Terry Fox decided to run across Canada while encumbered with a false leg. Terry was a good person because he helped so many cancer victims. Terry Fox is one of the 20th century’s greatest Canadian Heroes (Wikipedia,W). Terry Fox continued doing sports even with his false leg. Terry Fox did more than most people do to raise awareness, even though he had such a cumbersome leg.

Fox was unstoppable. Most of Fox’s leg was amputated in 1977(Terry Fox Organization,W) Terry fox went through so much, yet kept pushing for his goal. When Terry Fox saw the pains of other cancer patients, he decided to run in the Marathon of Hope (Terry Fox Organization, W). For over eight months, Terry ran over 5000km (with his false leg) to prepare for the big cross-country Marathon (Terry Fox Organization, W). If everyone acted like Fox, the world would be a better place.

Fox is a righteous Hero to many people. Terry was a famous, determined, and unstoppable Canadian. Not only that, but Terry Fox was a good person. Terry is the youngest person to get the Companion of the Order of Canada (TCET organization, W) Terry Fox is an excellent role model for anyone who goes through a time in their life when they are injured and need hope.
