Traven Olsson Keigley

A hero is someone who affects your life by the way they live their own.

It is important to have a hero so you have someone to look up to, and someone who inspires you to be a better person.

My hero is Traven Keigley because of the way he lived his life. On March 30, 2011, Traven was killed in a car accident while on vacation in North Carolina. He lived his life like nothing else mattered. Even while in the hospital last year when his appendix burst, he was messing around and having a good time. Traven made the best of any situation, and that is how I want to live my life.

Traven deserves to be in the "best attitude" hall of fame. His attitude toward living his life to the fullest made everyone want to be around him. He always had a smile on his face, and he was always joking with someone about something. He was the person that would talk to you even if you weren't on the best of terms with him. He always looked at the positives, never the negatives. He could put anyone in a good mood just with one smile.

Because I couldn't interview Traven, I interviewed my other hero, my mom. My mom is very proud of all her kids and how well she raised us. She dreams of watching us grow up to be people she can show off proudly. Her hero is her own mother. She looks to her for advice when she can't solve a problem herself. She still goes to her parents when she needs help. One of her best friends is her brother. They are still very close.
