What do you think that a hero should be? Do you think that they should have super strength? Be able to shoot lasers out of their eyes or even be able to fly? That's not what I think a hero should be. I think that a hero is anyone that somebody can look up to because they have done a great feat like Wayne Gretzky or they've done a phenomenal thing for the world like Martin Luther King Jr. That's why I have chosen Tony Hawk, one of the greatest vert skaters ever.

Tony Hawk was born on May 12, 1968 in San Diago, California. He has three kids (all boys.) Their names are Riley, Spencer and Keegan. They skate just like their father did when he was as young as they are now. Tony Hawk was the first person ever to complete a full 900 in skateboarding. He completed this feat at the 1999 Summer X games. Since then, there have been many attempts to complete the 900 spin and there have been many more failures than completions.

Tony Hawk has also invented lots and lots of tricks that skaters still use today and even in snowboarding these tricks are being used as well. Tony Hawk has blonde hair and when he was young he was constantly being bullied. He also had bad anger problems when he was young. Tony Hawk has also made eight video games on skateboarding they are: Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4, Tony Hawk's Under Ground, Tony Hawk's Under Ground 2, Tony Hawk's American Wasteland and the newest game that is supposed to be awesome is Tony Hawk's Project 8.

Tony Hawk is my hero because he is one of the greatest skaters ever in the history of skateboarding. He also is my hero because he is a kind man who is not selfish with his money like other millionaires. He is also a great role model for skaters to look up to because he's so good at skating. He is one of my greatest role models on the planet.

All in all, I think that Tony Hawk is a great hero like so many other people and that is why he is my hero.
