Terry Fox is a real hero. Terry was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and was raised in Port Coqiutlam. I admire Terry Fox because he ran across Canada to raise money for cancer. He started in St. Johns and ended in Thunder Bay when he became very sick again. Terry ran through 6 provinces. His goal was to get a dollar from every Canadian. Terry had an artificial leg.

Terry Fox ran across Canada to raise money for people with cancer. He raised over $1 000 000 dollars. Terry gave everything to help people with cancer. Terry Fox even gave up his life to fulfill his goal. He knew he was sick again before he started the run. Terry didn’t want anyone to know he was sick because he didn’t want them to try and stop him because he wanted to help others. He was even in the cancer ward with children younger than himself.

Terry Fox is one of the top ten Canadians. On a scale of one to ten what would you rate him. I would rate him a ten.
