William James Adam A.K.A Will.I.Am

William James Adam was born on March 15, 1975 (age 35). He was born and raised in the projects of East Los Angeles. He never knew his father. His mom always encouraged him to work on his musical career. He was inspired by his hero, Stevie Wonder. In high school he became best friends with Allan Lindo (A.K.A. apl.de.ap), who is now a Black Eyed Peas member.

William has supported many charities. Some charities he has supported are Common Ground Foundation, Green for All, i.am.home Fund, i.am scholarship Fund, League of Conservation Voters, MASSIVEGOOD, Mercy Corps, Music Rising, RETHINK Fabrics, and The Black Eyed Peas Foundation. He created the i.am.home fund to help struggling families prevent losing their home. He also created the i.am.scholarship fund to help bring educational opportunities to young people in need of financial assistance. All his charity work makes him a hero not just to me but also people being helped by these charities.

He has made a difference in the world by donating, he has helped a lot of people through these charities which is why he is my hero. He is very generous, nice, funny and very talented. His talent is another reason he is my hero. I love his music!
