Woody Morcott

My hero is my grandpa, Woody Morcott. He is 72 and lives with my grandma in Hobe Sound, Florida. He also loves to play golf with friends. My grandpa is a fun and outgoing guy. I love to go down to Florida and spend time with my grandpa. I love my grandfather very much.

There are several things that make my grandpa a hero. He got his education at Davidson College and Michigan University showing that anyone can get a good education. He had a great job at Dana and was the CEO and chairman of Dana and that shows his persuasion and that you can go far in life. Also my grandfather is very wise and knows many things. He is patient and kind even though at sometimes I am not. My grandpa is the best grandpa a kid could ever have.

Compared to an ancient Greek hero my grandpa is absolutely opposite. My grandpa does not slay dragons. He does not strangle Minotaurs with his bare hands. He does not perform 12 impossible labors. But my grandpa is intelligent like the hero Odysseus. I love my Grandpa very much, and to me he is a true hero.
