EARLY WORKS:

Wolfgang Mozart was born in Salzburg, Austria on January 27, 1756. At the age of three Mozart started to play the keyboard. At age 5 Mozart started composing minuets. In 1763-1766 he toured Europe with his sister and his father to play music for Louis XV and George III. Some early composing: La Finta Semplice [1768], Bastien Und  Batenne [1768], Mitridate Re Di Ponto [1770].

MIDDLE WORKS:

Unable to find a position in court Mozart went back to Salzburg ; appointed as the court organist to the
Archbishop of Salzburg. Resigned from his position due to tension between Mozart and Archbishop.
Mozart stayed in Vienna instead of returning to Salzburg. Because Mozart stayed in Vienna it put strain
on the relationship between him and his father. In 1778 July Anna Maria Mozart died. Some middle compositions:
Missa Brevis in B Flat [1773-1777], Missa in c Coronation Mass
[1779] Missa Solemnis in C [1780].

ACHIEVEMENTS:

Mozart composed many works[over 600 works! which includes 21 stage and opera works, 15 masses, over 50 symphonies, 25 piano concertos, 27 concert arias ,17 piano sonatas 26 string
quartets and much, much more.

LATER WORKS:

Mozart married Constance Weber in Vienna's St. Stephens Cathedral. After Mozart died Constance married Danish diplomat Georg Nikolaus Von Nissen. In Vienna Mozart supported his family by performing in public and private, teaching, and composing. His first opera written after his residency in Vienna, Abduction from Seraglio was a success. Some later composing: Idomeneo, re di Creta [1781], The Abduction from Seraglio [1782], Mass in C Minor [1783], The Marriage of Figaro [1786],Don Giovanni [1787].

 CONCLUSION:

While Mozart only lived to be 35 he composed over 600 pieces of music. I think his life is a legacy
that will live on for hundreds of years. Even when he was young, he composed minuets. I know
when I was 5 I couldn't do that. But I know that The Marriage of Figaro is my favorite piece.
