Hello. My name is Emma and I am here to tell you about my hero. I looked it up in a dictionary and the definition of hero is: A man or woman admired for brave deeds, noble qualities, etc. A hero is not just a super hero with an "S" on his shirt that flies and leaps from building to building. My definition of a hero is someone you look up to, your role model. Well to me there are any people who fit this definition for me, however, there is only one person who fits this definition the best, and that is Will.i.am.

Well, as you have learned in the paragraph above, Will.i.am is my hero. His real name is William James Adams Jr. However, his stage name and most known name is Will.i.am. I’m guessing the main reason he is my hero is that he has achieved so much in his life so far, like these things: he is an American rapper, singer, musician, songwriter, actor, producer and, best of all, he is the lead singer of the Black Eyed Peas.

Will.i.am has not always had it easy, though. He never met his father, and he grew up with his mother. Later on in his life, Will.i.am went to Palisades Charter High School where he became best friends with Allan Lindo or, as many people call him by his stage name, Apl.de.ap, who is also a member of the Black Eyed Peas.

Later on they met Jamie Lois Gomez or, as most people know him as, Taboo. Soon after their meeting, Will.i.am, Apl.de.ap, and Taboo were recording their third album, Elephunk, in 2003, when Will.i.am invited Stacy Anne Ferguson, or known more commonly by Fergie, to try out for a song called "Shut Up." She got the gig and immediately became best friends with the group and also recorded five more songs on the Elephunk album. From then on, that group of four people became known as The Black Eyed Peas.

Well that is enough talk about the Black Eyed Peas so let’s go back to the subject of my hero, Will.i.am. During his time working with the Black Eyed Peas, Will.i.am has made many solos and is featured in many other musicians’ albums. His first solo single was "It's a New Day" and his first solo album was "Songs About Girls" In the year 2009, Will.i.am worked with rappers Akon and Flo Rida on Flo Rida's new album, R.O.O.T.S. He has also produced with other artists including Juanes, Michael Jackson, Cheryl Cole, 2NE1, Big Bang, Daddy Yankee, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, U2, Rihanna, Usher, and Nicki Minaj

Sometimes I wish I could be just like Will.i.am because he is so famous and has lots of screaming fans. What also caused me to admire him more are some things Will.i.am has said, and here they are: "In life everyone will hurt you, you just have to find the ones worth hurting for" "Focus on what you want not on what you don't" — will.i.am These quotes add to the reasons Will.i.am is my hero and I think he is the most awesome famous person ever. I will always admire Will.i.am.
