Xander

When I first looked at this man who was probably in his early twenties, I didn't expect him to be my role model. He stood in front of a large crowd with high confidence. Looking very eager to get the show started, he welcomed the crowd, and introduced himself and his band. I watched and listened to one of my favorite bands play for the first time. I knew then that I wanted to do what Xander Bourgeo does for a living. He is a singer for a band named Secrets. I got the chance to greet and chat with him a little after the show. He was one of the coolest and down to earth people that I have met in a long time. I was also impressed with him for filling in another singer's spot for another band. That vocalist had been sick on the tour, and Xander took the part very well.

Because that tour was so successful for Secrets, they had a great opportunity to be in another tour. I attended that show as well. Xander is a nice, polite, guy. He's confident and open to meet new people. He's always looking for a good time and he's following his dreams. He's a truly inspirational character and that what makes him my hero.
