Joseph Campbell states, ”A hero is someone who gives his or life for something bigger than oneself.” A hero is very confident and excels in what he does. He or she is distinguished by exceptional courage, nobility, and strength. Franz Beckenbauer is a famous soccer star from Germany and is considered a hero.


Franz Beckenbauer was born in Munich, Germany in 1945. He is a hero because he accomplished many goals, including winning The World Cup of Soccer. He played for many different soccer teams including the New York Cosmos and the German All-stars. In 1968-1969 he was the team captain for the German All-stars. Then in 1976 he was voted the European Footballer of the Year.

Franz Beckenbauer won the World Cup not only as a player but as a manager, too. To him it was an honor to coach the German All-stars and he said he would love to do it again. When Franz became a soccer star, he became known all around the world. He is not just remembered for his medals and trophies but for his athletic ability and his intelligence.

Franz Beckenbauer is a hard working person who focuses on achieving his goals. He is also very athletic because he gave up his time to practice and become an amazing soccer star. I also think that he is extraordinary. He is because he is not just an ordinary person, he is an extraordinary soccer star.

In conclusion, a hero usually has a unique ability or has achieved his or her goals. A hero is extraordinary and can do things that ordinary people can’t. Franz Beckenbauer is a soccer star that is looked at as a hero. He is considered a hero because many people would like to play soccer just like him. Franz Beckenbauer is a hero. Franz Beckenbauer is a famous soccer star from Munich, Germany.
