When I was little I used to see him,
smiling down at me.
Now I am older and he's still there,
listen and you will see.
The things that he does don't amaze me,
for his friends, [there] he'll always be.
But the thing that takes me by surprise is
he's also there for his enemy!
No matter who or what it is,
he'll lend a helping hand.
If you look through my point of view,
my grandpa is the man!
Born and raised in America,
though he is Syrian.
He loves his six children and his wife,
who is his new best friend.
He ran for representative,
though losing once and then,
he ran for representative,
and won then and again.
Although he loves his job,
his hobby is to fish.
To catch and eat the biggest one,
I'm sure would be his wish.
My grandpa is my hero,
and he'll always be,
my bright and early sunshine,
whom no one can take from me.
