There are many types of heroes. A hero can be respectful, smart, a role model, helpful to others, and a person to look up to. My hero is Christopher Grimyser, my father. He now lives in Cedar Grove, New Jersey. My father once said, “My hero was Evil Knievel because he showed me if you crash, don’t give up, try again.” My dad always tries again and taught me to always try again. My dad is 39.
My father has done many good deeds. He paints every Saturday and Sunday for no pay. He also paints relatives’ houses if they need some help. My dad has done many small deeds that no one may realize.
My father helped out a local school so much! He donated $8000 worth of workout equipment to the high school gym. He was a hero to all of the kids in the high school. The equipment is still there today.
My father helps out many parents also. My dad gives children rides when they need them. This helps their parents do things they need to do. When I was on my baseball team, children called my house and asked if my father could bring them to the game. My dad was glad to do this for other parents.
My father is a caring person. He cares about children. The high school gym probably would not have as much equipment as it does now, if it weren’t for my dad. My dad has made a difference in my life because when my dad gives children rides, I make new friends. He showed me that you should help others and never give up. He believes that you should be there for others and so do I. He is my hero!
