Hallie Vissagio

by Valerie from Watertown

My hero is a very good friend of mine. The reason she would be considered a hero, or a person I look up to is that she has a great personality. She is a regular person and is a lot of fun. One of the reasons I respect her is that she is not afraid to tell people things. She'll tell you how she feels, but she never makes you feel bad.

The reason I respect her and would like to be like her is because she acts like she is not afraid of things, even if she is. She has a big mouth and talks alot. She'll talk to anyone and say anything, but usually nothing that comes out of her mouth would hurt someone.

She is sort of stops things that goes on between our friends. If there are people who sitting around and talking about other people she will tell you to stop and not to gossip. She acts like she doesn't care what other people think of her, even though you sometimes think she does. She is a very good listener and she will never tell anyone stuff you tell her if you don't want her to. Hallie does not live her life complaining. She accepts things and goes on with them. She accepts who she is. That is the kind of thing I would like to be known for.

Another great thing about her is that she is really funny. She will always make you laugh. She likes to have fun. She is fun to hang around with. But when the time comes to be serious she is.

Even though I respect her very much, at times I don't want to act like her. These times are not very often but they do occur once in a while. Hallie is a great person even with all her flaws. I think she is a cool person. Even though I've only known her for 1 school year she has gotten to be one of my good friends.I respect her for alot of the things she does and accomplishes.
