Louis Helverson

by dave from center valley

My Hero Louis My hero is my cousin, Louis. He is my hero because he gives me advice. He tells me not to pick on others. He says it is not right to be a bully yourself. It is important to be stronger and to stick up for yourself.

He says it is nice to get some strong and weak friends. This way the strong ones won’t pick on the weak ones. Get a bully to be your friend, so he doesn’t pick on you. He always helps me get away from my cousin, Scott. Scott picks on me.

He plays a lot of games like dark wrestle, TV tag, and monster tag. He never loses. He is quick. I wish I could be just like him. Most of the games are hard to play, so he practices with his brother Patrick and with his other cousins. My cousin is strong he can hold 2 bails of hay I can only hold one bail of hay.

Get tough. That is another one he said. Don’t run away. Face up not down. Don’t be afraid. He tells me this when I do the opposite. His influence in my life is good. He also says to start to be friendly. He does the same by being friendly to gain trust. He helps others by doing what they say. He is sometimes very friendly

Louis has two other brothers. He is not the only one in his family. He doesn’t have to be bored. He treats his brothers with respect. He doesn’t hide anything. We have a nature club. He said I was going to be the captain. Our club is near the tree that was hit by lightening. We put a cover over one of its branches. We go in there and have nature club meetings. His two brothers died and he almost lost another brother, Patrick. They died when they were babies because they were born two months early. They would have been older than my cousin, Janelle. She is nineteen. He is good to look up to because he is sort of great to have as a cousin.
